About
MOL Ferry Co., Ltd. was a Japanese maritime company specializing in passenger, vehicle, and freight transport between the Kanto region and Hokkaido. Established in 2001, it operated the Oarai-Tomakomai route with vessels like Sunflower Mito, Sunflower Tsukuba, Sunflower Erimo, and Sunflower Oarai. In 2023, MOL Ferry merged with Ferry Sunflower Limited to form MOL Sunflower Ltd., Japan's largest ferry and coastal RORO vessel operator, offering six regular routes and 15 vessels.
