About
Destination Gotland is a Swedish ferry operator, wholly owned by Rederi AB Gotland, providing year-round services between Gotland and the Swedish mainland. Established in 1998, the company operates four high-speed ferries on the Visby–Nynäshamn and Visby–Oskarshamn routes, offering efficient crossings of approximately three hours. In 2023, Destination Gotland transported around 1.7 million passengers, 540,000 vehicles, and 760,000 lane meters of freight. During the summer season, the company runs up to 18 departures per day. With approximately 400 employees, Destination Gotland is headquartered in Visby and is one of Gotland's largest employers.
